Three Nights in Jupiter, Florida: Out of this World with Good Times

Enjoying some sparkling Rose with our hostess Vickie Miele

Jupiter, Florida never disappoints, and this visit was no exception. For three nights we called the West Jupiter RV Park home—a convenient and comfortable spot to park GR84RED and enjoy some quality time with dear friends.

Backyard BBQs & Sightseeing

One of the highlights of this trip was reconnecting with friends over backyard BBQs, where the food was as warm and welcoming as the company. Between bites of grilled goodness and catching up on life, we also took in some of Jupiter’s best sights.

Loggerhead Turtle

First up: Manatee Lagoon, where we had hoped to get an up-close look at these gentle giants. The manatees were on holiday that day, but we did see a small school of Barracuda waiting for the tide to bring them lunch. They are a fierce looking fish. Then we stopped by Loggerhead Marinelife Center, an incredible facility dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating sea turtles. Seeing these amazing creatures up close made for a memorable and educational experience.

After a day of exploring the local sites with our guide Vickie Miele, it was time to unwind. We grabbed drinks and appetizers at two of Jupiter’s classic waterfront spots: Square Grouper and Guanabanas. These two are definitely places to bring your appetite and thirst when visiting Jupiter.

Golfing in Jupiter

A trip to Jupiter wouldn’t be complete without a round of golf so we hit the greens at Golf Club of Jupiter. The course was in great shape and both Terri and I played well. We were paired with two gentlemen snow birds who are just days away from heading back north to Massachusetts. They were great company and provided all the local knowledge we needed to stay out of the hazards. One of the guys, Frank Camacho, had worked in the Hospitality industry in the 80’s and 90’s, and just happened to work at Sheraton’s HQ in Boston with my mentor and former boss. What an incredibly small world we live in. We highly recommend Golf Club of Jupiter for it’s affordability, course condition, friendly staff, and great 19th hole.

Final Thoughts

To wrap up the trip we had a final-night dinner at Old Florida Bar & Grill, a fitting choice to cap off a fantastic visit. Good food, great friends, and a perfect way to toast to another memorable stay in Jupiter. will be a favorite stop in the future, blending outdoor adventure, relaxation, and fantastic company. Whether enjoying time with friends, golf, or just soaking up the laid-back vibes, this Florida gem always delivers. Until next time, Jupiter!
