Day #25 - Photograph

Back on Valentines Day I covered Rodney Crowell’s “Till I Gain Control Again”. I mentioned that I learned the song off Blue Rodeo’s “Five Days in July” CD. There were four other songs of that record that I learned and here’s one of them. Photograph ends up as part of this project because I struggled with two other songs that I just couldn’t get right. I hadn’t played Photograph in years and yet it just flowed out.

The lyric tells the story of a Good Samaritan that helps out a young lady, only to be blinded by temptation and ultimately robbed clean by the victim turned grifter.

I’ll hope to get back to those other two songs before this coming Tuesday.
